I hate my classes. They are all so difficult. You wouldn't understand unless I was to give you a description of my average life consuming difficult week.
Monday- Drag my self out of bed as soon as the Italian rooster crows to make it to Italian class by 12:00pm. Later that day I am forced to do ridiculously relaxing things like meditate in a meditation yoga class for 2 hours. I was so relaxed I could have killed someone.
Tuesday- Another long day. By 6pm I am exhausted and just want to go to bed, but I have to go to class from 6-8:30pm. To make things worse, I have to sit there for 2.5 hours drinking/tasting and learning about different wines. If that doesn't sound difficult, then I have to describe the wine and what I think about it.
Wednesday- I wake up early to practice my body language and communication techniques. I improve my posture, communication skills, voice control, well okay that sounds pretty good.
Thursday-Sunday- I am then forced to do whatever my heart wishes. ...My heart can be demanding.
Try walking a week in my shoes. I hope you have small feet, Italian leather shoes while fashionable, can be very tight.
Wow! That does sound rough. Like a 3 and a half month paid vacation. Can't wait to see your improved posture when you come home.
ReplyDeletepaid vacation?!??! i dont know where the paid where comes in!
ReplyDeleteI will gladly walk a week in those fashionable, albeit tight, shoes for three and a half months.......NO PROBLEMO!! Glad to hear you still have that wonderful sense of humor after the bicycle fiasco! We will miss you and Laur today - having a 21st bday party for our Sam and since it doesn't seem as though you are suffering ovr there I will not hesitate to tell you about the menu:
ReplyDeleteThai Soup
Spring Rolls
General Tso's Chicken
Fried Rice
Cheesecake with white chocolate and strawberries
and of course the usual beverage fare! :)
Well baby you will be twenty one someday too and we can do this all over again!
I love you - Brad says "hello!"
and btw.......what is wrong with my use of the word "swank?" :(
ReplyDeletejosh i never had a 21 bday party with the fam, apparently the oldest doesnt get that honor :) hahahha.
ReplyDeletei don't believe that's true! and if it is.......well......there's always 30! Yeah, that's it - i will throw you a 30th bday party!!
ReplyDeleteHi guys, I have a really great video from my weekend celebrating Carnival. I'll post it soon. The party sounds great, especially the food. Trust me on the word swank. Lauren, I'll throw you a sister party. Before you turn 30. Thats a committment.
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't sound much different from my life now if you substitute Tucson for Florence. Matt says he is ready for this on a permanent basis but I told him he has to wait until he is old..er.
ReplyDeletethanks bro, that will be great. Mom, it is true, but lets not talk about me turning 30... im trying to stay 23 as long as possible.
ReplyDeletenow it is off to bed for me, as unlike you and Uncle M, I gotta work 55 hours a week (30 of them for FREE!) and keep on top of my four classes.. let me tell you, it ain't easy to keep a social life AND do all that. but it's all good. enjoy florence bro, i hear new yawk is being covered in snow.... once again.
Yeah tell Matt he isn't nearly old enough for this. Me and you, that's a different story.
ReplyDeleteLauren you crazy working girl. That's the type of hard work and determination I like to see.
